The Type Y tramcars were converted from the original open top Type Z cars in 1910-11. Reference should be made to photographs before starting this model, as there were variations over the years.

The kit comprises all body parts only. To complete the model it will be necessary to obtain
white metal controllers, a trolley pole, trucks and brass wire for handrails etc.
