KW 076 Blackpool Coronation
This kit is of the Blackpool Coronation cars numbers 304 to 328. They were built by Charles Roberts of Wakefield and introduced in June 1952.
The livery was originally cream with green lines above and below the windows. In 1964 a new livery of half green and half cream livery with an orange trolley tower was introduced.
The cars were later renumbered 641 to 664.
Most of the cars were withdrawn by 1975. Cars 304, 663 and 660 are preserved.
The model is based on the original Blackpool in the Box kit, with Mark Hughes etched brass tower, lifeguards, lifetrays.
