KW 001 Early single deck Milnes car
This model is based on the various batches of car supplied by Brush, Milnes and SCT home built between 1899 and 1904.
The Preston cars No2 53-58 were rather different, but the other single-deckers were all to the same basic design with only detail differences.
Some of these trams were later sold to Barrow (became 29-34), Preston (9 of) and company fleets Yorkshire W.D (12 of) and Musselburgh and District (3 of).Potteries Electric Traction Co (3 of), Paisley (was 202).
7 were made into snowploughs.
21 were made into double deck trams.
Note, our kits contain white metal or pewter parts only. In order to keep prices down, they do not include motors, seats, glazing, wire, etched brass fittings, trolley poles, figures, decals etc.
