KW 068 Cruden Bay
Our kit is based on the two Cruden Bay Hotel tramway cars.
The tramway was built to take passengers from the mainline station to the hotel. These cars were built by the GNSR at their Kittybrewster works. They were of a clerestoried combination type with a three-window saloon to seat 16 passengers, and the equivalent of a fourth window bay was a gated platform area for conveying luggage and laundry baskets. They were luxurious cars with comfortable upholstered seating and matching curtains.
The kit includes the white metal body parts, 3D printed roof and etched brass fittings.
Note - this model is designed to fit TT Finescale (14.2mm gauge) track.
Truck - MECRUDEN or equivalent - - see Other scales / 3mm section of this web site.
For transfers for this kit, see KW 0068 Cruden Bay transfers in the OO gauge transfers section of this web site.
